A website about computers, Linux, servers, Garry's Mod, the woods, firelight, and whatever else seems worth keeping. It was supposed to stay reasonably tidy. That has not entirely happened.
The original idea here was simple: learn how servers work, host some HTML files, understand Linux a bit better, and build a website that felt personal rather than sterile.
It was a good balance for a while. Linux on one side. Nature on the other.
There is something honest about the woods that computers can only occasionally match. Trees do not care whether your config file is wrong. Fire does not care whether a service failed to restart.
Richard O'Hanlon is not a real person, yet somehow he remains present in the lore of this place. He is said to live in a well with his two lads, and to address nearly everything as team.
What began as a technical project slowly became something stranger: a mixture of Linux experiments, woodland atmosphere, and the expanding lore of Richard O'Hanlon.
